ALT.NET Opening Session - This is gonna be good... >>

So, it seems starting up a new user group has some unexpected benefits. I've been invited to attend the ALT.NET Open Spaces Conference in Austin this weekend. I decided to go for it. I'm still a bit in awe as so many of my programming idols will be there. I hope to be able to add to the conversation and share some ideas particularly regarding organizing user groups and helping to build the ALT.NET community. The foundation for a great community is already there and I really appreciate all the support that I've received ever since my original blog post. If you have thoughts on what makes a good user group, or user community, please share them in the comments.
